Bedroom Expansion Remodel

We designed and built a room expansion for a wheelchair-bound individual by converting part of the garage. This required collaboration with a structural engineer and successful navigation of Structural, Electrical and Mechanical inspections. The renovation included significant storage additions, accessible closets with custom sliding barn doors, and a wheelchair-accessible computer desk. We installed LED ceiling wash lighting and directional desk lighting, both controllable via remote to accommodate the user's needs. Bumper panels and PVC wall edges were also added to protect the walls and corners from wheelchair damage.

Overall, the project trade tasks included CAD design, demo, framing, insulation, drywall, electrical, low-voltage lighting, flooring, carpentry, finish trim carpentry, and painting.
